The Wine School at SF Wine Center

The Wine School at San Francisco Wine Center is a year-round wine education center offering tasting classes weekly from 6:30pm – 8:00pm for both consumers and the trade.  The Wine School faculty here at San Francisco Wine Center includes Master Sommeliers, James Beard Award-Winning wine authors, Masters of Wine, and Wine Directors from the most famous restaurants in the country including Julie Albin WSET Diploma, Gillian Balance MS Mauro Cirilli, Mary Burnham, Amy Currens, Jason Alexander, Christie Dufault, Jordan Mackay, Brian Cronin MS , Emily Wines MS, Jean Reilly MW, and more. We offer unique wine tasting classes on topics ranging from Aromatics and Minerality to varietal and region specific themes. It is truly the best wine education experience for all levels and in a comfortable, fun, and interactive environment.  Specialty and customized private group tasting classes with our expert instructors are also available.

The Wine School schedule is currently on hold during stay-at-home rules in San Francisco. We will begin a winter wine school curriculum as soon as we can in our new spacious outdoor Indie Station at our new location in Levi Plaza. Once it is safe to host classes inside, we will return to the Indie Wine Bar private classroom space. Stay tuned for classes to be posted to our online reservation calendar here on our web site.

Class Cancellation Policy: Advanced reservations are required for all classes. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of class if you cannot attend. Last-minute requests for refunds or class credit are difficult to accommodate since class sizes are limited and wine is purchased ahead of time based on confirmed reservations.
